Happily the Peaceful Live was inspired by the garden my spouse is gradually creating around our home. The roundels from a vintage doily reminded me of the allium that bloomed in the spring but they were the wrong color. The white crochet thread wasn’t quite working so I experimented with some RIT dye and hoped for the best. Pulling the now purple vintage crochet fragments from the dye was quite satisfying. Perhaps I’ll try that again at some point if the opportunity arises.
